Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder 100 g – Premium for Matcha Latte

Premium organic Matcha green tea from Japan – finely milled, vividly green and pleasantly mild. The powder is the base for a creamy Matcha Latte, for Matcha Bubble Tea with tapioca pearls and for anything else you want to make with it, from smoothies to baking.
Why this Matcha?
- Certified organic – controlled cultivation, no additives and no sugar
- Finely milled – dissolves evenly and whisks up beautifully frothy
- Mild instead of bitter – pleasant to drink neat or with just a little milk
- Caffeine plus L-theanine – alert focus without the post-coffee crash
- 100 g supply – enough for around 50 cups at 2 g per serving
How to make a Matcha Latte
Sift 1 tsp of Matcha (about 2 g) through a fine sieve into a bowl, pour over 6–10 cl of hot water at around 75 °C and whisk until frothy with a bamboo whisk or milk frother. Then add 20–25 cl of warm milk or oat milk. For an iced Matcha, pour everything over ice cubes. Important: never use boiling water or the Matcha will turn bitter.

Frequently asked questions
How much Matcha do I need per cup?
Around 2 g, roughly 1 heaped teaspoon. The 100 g tin therefore lasts for about 50 servings.
Why does my Matcha taste bitter?
Usually the water is too hot. Use a maximum of 75–80 °C and sift the powder before whisking – that keeps the taste mild.
How much caffeine does Matcha contain?
Less than a cup of coffee, but thanks to the L-theanine it contains, the effect is steadier and lasts longer.
How do I store Matcha correctly?
Airtight, cool and dark. Use it up within a few weeks of opening so the colour and aroma are preserved.
