Loose Tea in Organic Quality
For classic milk tea, go for a robust black tea such as our organic Russian Earl Grey or the spiced organic Chai Latte. Lighter versions work well with green tea – for example Hänsel und Gretel organic or the fresh, fruity organic green tea strawberry-mint. If you like something special, try the semi-fermented oolong tea almond-chocolate, and for caffeine-free enjoyment in the evening there is rooibos in two varieties: Caramel Cream and Christmas Pop. In winter, the organic black tea Christmas Spice with cinnamon, apple and cardamom and our organic mulled wine spice blend keep you warm, while organic Mate Boost with guarana and ginseng delivers an energy kick.
How to Get the Tea Base Right
Black tea and rooibos can take boiling water. Green tea, Matcha and oolong tea are better brewed with hot water at 75–80 °C – never with boiling water, or they turn bitter. For bubble tea, brew the tea a little stronger than usual because milk and ice dilute the flavour, then let it cool completely and combine it with tapioca pearls or popping boba.
