How to make passion fruit bubble tea in 4 steps

  1. Brew the tea: steep the sencha at 80 °C for 2–3 minutes and let it cool completely.
  2. Prepare the glass: fill with ice cubes and pour 15 ml of passion fruit syrup over them.
  3. Top up: add 20 cl of chilled tea and stir briefly.
  4. Add the pearls: spoon in 30 g of fruit pearls, add the XXL straw – done, no cooking at all.

Fruit pearls (popping boba) have a liquid fruit core and burst when you drink them. Tapioca pearls are soft, cooked balls of tapioca starch with a chewy texture.

Yes – 100% vegan and gluten-free, with no gelatine and no artificial colours.

Do I have to cook the fruit pearls?
No, they are ready to use. Just spoon them straight from the jar into your drink.
